(10/4/05)-The 1.03 patch has been released!![finally] We are now accepting new recruits because of the patches ability to change your user name without starting a new account. Our server will be running the new WAKE ISLAND map released in the 1.03 patch. The map comes free of charge with the download of the patch.Make sure to download the patch, cya out there!   

      (8/24/05)-EA is currently working on a new patch for Battlefield 2 (patch 1.03). In this patch they have made over fixes and improvements including:Server and client performance improvements,Improved server browser(added favorites and history),point-farming prevention(game will stop support/medic/engineer point-farming exploits,locked squad-leaders will receive a message if someone wants to join their squad,many Hud improvements(see the names of others in your vehicles;zoom level changing[depending on vehicle]),Teamkilling changes(the logic of how teamkills are tracked will be changed),Gameplay Tweaks(the way transport helicopters work will be manipulated,additional scoring changes(players who destroy a commander's assests will be awarded points).

When questioned at a recent press conference regarding the new 1.03 patch, EA released a stated saying,"We are committed to making the 1.03 Update as comprehensive as possible, so while it is important to us to keep the release date, it is more important that we take the time to do this right. We will avoid committing to another date, but know that our goal is to get 1.03 out as quickly as possible. Keep fighting soldiers, the 1.03 Update is coming!"
